About Me
My background
Born in Canada and raised in Scotland, I live in the Ashdown Forest with my husband, four young children and a collection of animals.
My writing roots
In between writing and editing health features for magazines, I now write children’s picture books.
Nature is the core theme running through my work and the quirky perspectives of the main characters are challenging to illustrate. The end product therefore stands out as being unique, beautiful and entirely different to anything else on the bookshelf.
